Two More Days...

Two more days until we get to go camping! Still not sure where we are gonna go but we have decided on Car Camping. Its gonna be the perfect way to celebrate our 3... yes THREE year anniversary! I can't express how excited I am to get away for a few days.

We are now into our third month of our "Financial Diet" and I am so excited. We have made it a goal to pay off our house. This will be accomplished by working really hard and spending lots of Nothing. Any extra money after bills goes towards the mortgage. So far, it has been a lot easier than I ever thought it would be. Where did we get our inspiration? The Dave Ramsey Show. I dream of the day that we can call and scream WE'RE DEBT FREEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

Last night we indulged on corn on the cob. What is so special about that you ask?? Well I'll tell ya...WE GREW IT!!! Its so rewarding to pick and eat your dinner from your backyard. Now if only we could get our tomatoes to turn red so we can make salsa...I can't wait!

I thought this news story was funny cause Sam catches the yawns from me all the time. Its hilarious.

Green Tea with Raspberry and Honey

This is officially my new favorite drink. This drink has been great have around since I have tried to eliminate carbonated beverages from the diet. I have to say that I would now prefer one of these over a Pepsi and if you know me....you know that that was not easy for me say (or write haha).

Update

We had MiniMatts family over for a BBQ on Saturday. I must say that it went GREAT! I absolutely love their whole family. BBQ included: Hamburgers, Hot dogs, Water Splashing, Veggie Burgers, Laughing, Picture Sharing, Shauna Pasta, Puppy Friends, Races, Watermelon, Double Dares in the Pool, Cake, Cartwheels, Story Telling, and Episodes of Mr. Bean.

Sunday was a challenge. We'll just say that I was feeling very emotional, feeling as though the whole world was against me. This of course caused a big fight between Mr. Matt and I ending with swollen eyes (from crying) and cucumbers stuck to the ceiling. Don't worry...it didn't last long and there was a happy ending. Now we love each other again ;). We ended the day by going to a movie and later getting a Tigers Blood Slushy... Yum!

Today has been quite a day.

Highlights Include:

-Finding out that sister Hayley LOVED her community service project. Yes, what she did to get community service is not cool BUT...and its a big BUT....I really believe that this will benefit her in more ways than she'll ever know. I think its one of those blessings in disguise.

-Brother Tyler getting talk of promotion to a management position at his new job on the FIRST DAY! I am so excited for him.

Mr. Matt coming home from hiking with Minimatt and his brother full of stories of how much fun they had.

Exercising....it felt so so good to run some tension off.


Downfalls Include:

Washer Flooding the laundry room and the closet in Matt's office... AGAIN! Anyone selling a washer?

Mom going to jail.....AGAIN!

Pigging out on a burrito and greasy potato fries right after working out.

Lucky Lucky LUCKY am I !!!

Lagoooon!

We went to Lagoon! I love love LOVE amusement parks but Matt....umm yea....he gets sick. So...needless to say I was totally excited when I found out that Matts company party was being held at Lagoon. He had no choice, he had to go. I got him on 6 rides before he was looking like he was gonna hurl. Have ya ever been on a ride with someone who looks like they may hurl at any moment?? And..keeping in mind that that someone just got done eating a hamburger AND a hot dog? After just 4 hours, we went home and spent the rest of the day chillin with the pups. Hey, it was f-r-e-e and now I get to say that Ive been to Lagoon with Mr. Matt. I'll go again during Frightmares when its cheaper, cooler, and there are shorter lines. My favorite rides are: The Spider, the bumper cars, and of course the White (or brown) Roller Coaster.

Yeah...he even got sick on this one.

The White Coaster was my favorite ride of the day.
